Overview

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 Performance Budget submitted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) supports the implementation of its Strategic Plan. The NRC’s proposed FY 2006 budget is $702 million, which represents an increase of $32 million over the FY 2005 budget. This budget reflects $567 million from fees assessed to NRC licensees, resulting in a net appropriation of $135 million.
