Seamus Kennedy, originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been entertaining audiences in Albuquerque for years and will be back on Thursday, June 12th, to make this “Summer Nights” at the Rio Grande Botanic Garden a truly memorable evening.
His repertoire and ready wit will make folks forget their cares for a while, as he encourages the crowd to sing along to silly lyrics and daft ditties. The Wilders

The Wilders will swing the Gardens when they bring their unique hillbilly string band sounds to this high-energy Summer Nights performance.
The Wilders are firmly grounded in the early formative years of recorded country music. Each performance features hard driving old-time fiddle tunes, original and classic country music, bluegrass, hillbilly songs and old time gospel tunes. The chugging clawhammer banjo, dobro and plunky mandolin blend seamlessly with the groups beautiful vocal harmonizing.
Girlyman

Girlyman are three classically trained, introspective, tongue-in-cheek musicians who try not to take themselves too seriously.
The band's folk/pop/bluegrass sound has a sense of confidence, energy and spirit that the trio has become known for. Their songs are memorable, well-crafted and graced by the group's signature three-part harmonies. They play a slew of instruments including acoustic guitar, banjo, baritone guitar, djembe and mandolin. Since touring with the Indigo Girls, Girlyman has become a national headlining act in its own right, selling out major folk venues across the country, playing on internationally syndicated radio shows and earning a loyal following.
Billy Jonas

A Billy Jonas performance is an explosion of energy and his primary instrument is the audience!
Jonas' original pieces are played on fanciful "industrial re-percussion" instruments made from found objects. He sings in a clear tenor voice; his guitar work is adventurous, alternately percussive and lyrical. Billy Jonas' performances will inspire, inform, and enlighten adults and children alike.

The Jimmy Stadler Band calls New Mexico home. And just as a drive through our state reveals a surprising array of landscapes and cultures, a concert with The Jimmy Stadler Band takes listeners on a journey through a range of genres from alternative country and rock to blues.
At home on piano, electric guitar, mandolin, acoustic guitar, organ and harmonica, Jimmy's musicality shines with the able backing of Craig Neil on drums, percussion and background vocals and Dave Toland on bass guitar.
Carrie Rodriguez

Carrie Rodriguez is a mesmerizing and soulful singer, songwriter and fiddle player from Austin, TX. Rodriguez started her musical career when she began playing violoin at the age of five. She studied classical music and then moved into more adventurous waters as she studied bluegrass, old-time, swing, jazz, and everything in between.
She released her solo debut, 'Seven Angels on a Bicycle' in August of 2006. No Depression called the album "mesmerizing ... The confident way she leads this ensemble through sessions that mix country, soul, jazz and avant-garde sounds is remarkable."
The Refugees

The Refugees are three women, Cindy Bullens, Deborah Hollandand Wendy Walman, with long careers in the music industry. Long-time singers, songwriters and "rock 'n' rollers," they each bring a wealth of experience, songs and talent to the stage.

South by Southwest

Over the past several years, Michael Hearne and South by Southwest have created a new and unique kind of music. “Southwestern Americana, ” as Michael calls it, includes “songs about the Southwest with an acoustic feel.”
Take Michael Hearne’s incredibly smooth voice and amazing acoustic guitar style and combine it with Carmen Acciaioli’s musical mastery of the steel guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro and hammered dulcimer, and the extremely talented Zeke Severenson on stand up and electric bass, and you have what people all over the Southwest and beyond call their favorite band.
