GSA's personal property mission is to assist federal agencies in disposing of personal property no longer needed by the agency. There are three main categories of property requiring "special" handling. Aircraft, firearms, and vessels are disposed of as specified in the documents below.

An office of expertise has been established for each of these categories of property. Each designated office will assist federal and state agencies with the disposition and acquisition of any aircraft, firearms, or vessels. The points of contact are within each document.
