MUOS Satellite Dish Completed in Hawaii
The first of three Mobile User Objective System satellite dishes is installed in Wahiawa, Hawaii. MUOS is directed by the Navy's Program Executive Office for Space Systems and will provide significantly enhanced narrowband satellite communications for the Department of Defense. This next generation satellite system will provide greater than 10 times the current narrowband capacity, as well as beyond-line-of-site and communications-on-the-move capabilities.
