National Water and Climate Center - Location

The National Water and Climate Center (NWCC) is located in NE Portland in the Lloyd District at:  1201 NE Lloyd Blvd., Suite 802, Portland, Oregon 97232.  The building is on the block between NE 11th and NE 13th Avenues; NE Lloyd Blvd. and NE Holladay Street.

Driving Directions

From the south:  Take I-5 north towards Seattle.  Take the Rose Quarter Exit #302A off I-5.  Stay in the right lane and merge onto NE Weidler St.  Go to NE 9th Ave. and turn RIGHT.
Continue to NE Holladay St. and turn LEFT.  At the intersection with NE 11th Ave., you will see the parking garage and building across the street from Holladay Park.

From the west: Take U.S. Highway 26 towards Portland.  As you approach downtown and go through the tunnel, stay in the far right lane heading towards THE DALLES/SALEM.
Merge onto I-5 N towards I-84 E/THE DALLES/SEATTLE.  Take the Rose Quarter Exit #302A off I-5.  Stay in the right lane and merge onto NE Weidler St.  Go to NE 9th Ave. and turn RIGHT.  Continue to NE Holladay St. and turn LEFT.  At the intersection with NE 11th Ave., you will see the parking garage and building across the street from Holladay Park.

From the north: Take I-5 south towards Portland.  Take the Rose Quarter Exit off I-5 exit #302A.  Get in the left lane.  Go straight through the 1st stop light.  At the second light, turn left onto NE Weidler St.  Go to NE 9th Ave. and turn RIGHT.  Continue to NE Holladay St. and  turn LEFT.  At the intersection with NE 11th Ave., you will see the parking garage and building across the street from Holladay Park.

From the east:  Take I-84 westbound.  Take the Lloyd Blvd. Exit #1 to NE 13th Ave.  Stay left at this intersection.  The building is on the right.

From Portland International Airport:  Exit the airport and turn right on I-205. Proceed south on I-205 and exit onto I-84 West.  Continue west on I-84 and as you approach downtown, follow the above directions "From the East."

Parking

Parking is available in a parking garage on the west side of the building.  The parking garage can be accessed from NE Lloyd Blvd. or NE 11th Ave.  Additionally, there is short-term metered parking on NE Holladay St. and NE 13th Ave.

Transportation from the Airport

TriMet's Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) is the light rail system serving the Portland area.  From the airport, take the MAX Red Line to the stop "Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave".  From here, our building is directly across the street to the south. A variety of ground transportation providers (shuttles, private taxis, etc.) offer services to the Lloyd District and downtown Portland.

Portland Public Transportation

Tri-Met, Portland's public transportation system, offers free service in the central business district (Fareless Square). Service at a reasonable cost is also available to and from virtually all areas of the city and the suburbs.
