USCIS' Houston Office Remains Closed Due to Hurricane Ike
Update September 14 - All USCIS Houston, Tex. offices will remain closed Monday September 15 and Tuesday September 16.
September 11 - USCIS' Houston, Tex. office will close for business on Friday, Sept. 12 due to the approach of Hurricane Ike. All three local Application Support Centers have already closed. Interview appointments for naturalization and permanent residency have been automatically rescheduled.

USCIS Revises Filing Instructions for Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence
August 25, 2008 - U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today it has revised the filing instructions for the Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751). Effective immediately, all petitioners filing a Form I-751 must file with the California or Vermont Service Center, depending on the state in which they reside.
