Caitlin is a Politics major and Latin American Studies minor at Whitman College. She has focused part of her studies on immigration and through her activism works to bring the human face to the foreground of this issue. She conducted community-based research on how to close the educational achievement gap between Latino/a students and their peers and has helped teach in bilingual classrooms for the last two years. She also enjoys the outdoors, theater and absolutely loves dark chocolate.
