A native of Santa Fe, Sarracina is an Environmental Biology major and Dance concentrator at Columbia. Inspired by her American Indian background, she seeks to protect the rights and cultures of Native peoples living in the United States. Concerned with the sustainable management of natural resources and the legal frameworks that support such endeavors, Sarracina will pursue a J.D. and found a public interest law firm dedicated to championing the rights of Native peoples and their communities.
