Emily is pursuing a career in global health policy and medicine. To combat the impact of malnutrition on effective HIV/AIDS treatment in Rwanda, she co-founded Gardens for Health International, a non-profit whose vision is to develop easily-replicable and sustainable solutions for providing nutritional support and economic empowerment to HIV-positive individuals. Emily plans to attend medical school and pursue graduate studies in public policy and public health. She enjoys painting and traveling.
