As an English and political science major at Yale, Sam has focused on conflict and displacement in Africa, especially the civil war in Northern Uganda (where he traveled as a volunteer for uNight). In addition, he draws political cartoons for the Yale Daily News and volunteers for the Obama campaign. Sam will return to Uganda through the Yale Law School Liman Fellowship and hopes to pursue human rights law or international criminal justice. In Colorado, he enjoys a good burrito and fly-fishing.
