Erin Mckenzie attends the University of Maine where she is pursuing a degree in accounting. After a distinguished 10-year career in the U.S. Air Force, she now serves in the Air National Guard. She has served as a mentor for at risk youth, volunteered at a domestic violence shelter, and gone on several visits to South Korean orphanages. She is the mother of a beautiful autistic son and is deeply committed to improving the education and health care of children with disabilities. After graduation, she aspires to pursue a degree in law. She intends to focus her career on family advocacy and child welfare programs and policies.
