Ben Brysacz was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Ben is a political science major at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon who has been fascinated by politics and public policy since high school. He has interned at the Brookings Institution and in the Office of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Ben is currently serving as a student organizer in the Obama campaign, and in his spare time he enjoys kayaking, snowboarding, and hiking in the Oregon backcountry.
