Nutrients in the Upper Mississippi River: Scientific Information to Support Management Decisions

This fact sheet presents information on U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) monitoring, modeling, and process studies ongoing in the Upper Mississippi River Basin to address issues of nutrient transport and ecological impact. Some eight offices and multiple programs of the USGS collaboratively work to address this significant basin-wide water resource issue.
