Effective, Efficient and Innovative Dispute Resolution


The NIH Office of the Ombudsman, Center for Cooperative Resolution (CCR) was established in 1997 to provide the NIH community with confidential and informal assistance in resolving work-related conflicts, disputes and grievances; to promote fair and equitable treatment within NIH; and to work toward improving the overall quality of worklife at the NIH.  The NIH Office of the Ombudsman offers effective, efficient and innovative dispute resolution services and helps people to use non-adversarial approaches in resolving disputes.
