Accessibility
The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) is committed to providing access to our
web pages for individuals with disabilities or impairments.
To meet this commitment, we will comply with the requirements of Section 508 of
the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 stipulates that individuals with disabilities,
who are members of the public or Federal employees seeking information or services
from us, have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to that
provided to the public who are not individuals with disabilities or impairments,
unless an undue burden would be imposed on us.
Many of the documents on the PRC Web site are in the Adobe
Acrobat PDF format. This format is generally not compatible
with most screen-reading software. Adobe Systems, Inc. provides information on reading
PRC content in their accessibility Web site at
http://www.adobe.com/enterprise/accessibility/readcontent.html
Adobe Systems, Inc. also provides a free translation service, which converts PDF files
to simple HTML or ASCII text, at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/access_onlinetools.html
If you use assistive technology, and the format of any material on our Web site
interferes with your ability to access the information, please contact
PRC-WEBMASTER@prc.gov for assistance.
To enable us to respond in a manner that will be of most help to you, please indicate:
- The nature of the accessibility problem,
- Your preferred format in which to receive the material,
- The Web address of the requested material, and
- Your full contact information.
Note: The PRC is not responsible for the accessibility of third party Web sites which
may be linked from our Web site.
