Exercise Video

Exercise GuideYou are never too old to get in shape! The NIA's FREE Guide* contains valuable information about how exercise and proper nutrition are crucial for staying healthy as we age. Scientists and doctors collaborated to provide useful tips on establishing and maintaining a regular exercise program. The Guide is for older people who want to take those first steps toward an active lifestyle.
*The Guide is temporarily out of stock. It is being redesigned and will be available in November 2008.

NIA's 48-minute companion video shows you how to start and stick with a safe, effective program of stretching, balance, and strength-training exercises. It features Margaret Richard, star of Body Electric, PBS' popular exercise show, and is available for $7.00 by mail or online. You can also view selected clips from the Exercise Video.
