Subject Categories

The Alzheimer’s disease thesaurus is used for indexing and online searching of materials cited in the ADEAR database. It also includes broader and narrower terms, related terms, and scope notes or definitions as needed. There are 23 broad categories of topics included in this collection, and each thesaurus term and subject term relates to at least one of the categories. The following subject categories are:
