Program Management Engineer

Work Schedule: Full Time
Salary: $56,532 – $83,272
Location: Washington, DC metropolitan area


Developing solutions that satisfy some of the Agency's most unique and challenging needs and intelligence problems, Program Management Engineers analyze requirements, propose solutions, conduct engineering analyses, manage development activities, conduct performance, security and risk assessments, and transition systems to full operation. Responsibilities involve developing system-level specifications and interface requirements; contract management including cost, schedule and technical performance; procurement documentation; and contract evaluation. Candidates will also ensure that systems keep pace with commercial trends and operational needs.


Minimum qualifications include a BS/MS in electrical, computer, mechanical or systems engineering or computer science, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Strong engineering skills, especially in systems engineering; computer proficiency, good oral and written communications skills; and a strong commitment to continuous learning; and the ability to work in a team environment, to motivate people and to keep senior management apprised of the progress of the project are also essential. Specialty knowledge in one or more of the following is desired: RF communications, telecommunications, digital design and circuits, analog design and circuits, systems engineering/architectures, signal processing and/or system and network management. Industry or government experience in managing projects is a plus.

All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.
