‘It’s Easy Being Green’ with King County’s help at Green Festival, April 12-13 in Seattle

Discover how easy it is to be green and make environmentally-friendly lifestyle choices at King County's educational pavilion during the Green Festival, April 12-13 at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle.

Featuring special discounts and incentives for green products, plus tips on connecting to the many earth-friendly resources that King County offers, the pavilion is just one of the 300-plus exhibits scheduled to participate in event.

"The county's partnership and participation at Green Festival is a great opportunity to showcase how easy it really is to live a green and healthy lifestyle," said King County Executive Ron Sims. "It is vital that we do all we can to preserve our environment by taking steps in every area and at every level."

As a major sponsor, King County's pavilion will provide an interactive experience with county experts and hands-on demonstrations on how easy it is to: recycle, green-up your ride, volunteer, reduce your carbon footprint and make your home and garden greener.

King County is a leading local government in creating policies and programs that improve environmental stewardship and create market-based solutions to help protect the planet.

The Green Festival has celebrated years of growing success and attendance at its past venues in San Francisco, Chicago and Washington D.C. and looks to continue its success in Seattle.
