Summer Institute 2009 will be held in Washington, DC from May 31st to August 1st.  Participants will attend the following programs:

• seminars in public policy (June 2-5 and various days in the summer);

• a day on Capitol Hill;

• Scholar led-presentations;

• a workshop on Arts & Public Service;

• an eight-week internship with a federal government agency, non-profit, or other public service organization.

Many federal and local government agencies, non-profits, think tanks and NGOs have sponsored Truman Scholars for Summer Institute.
