Basic Botany
Kyle Wallick, USBG Botanist
An understanding of basic botany can provide a better understanding of the plant world around you. Learn plant morphology and taxonomy by examining the variety of plant forms, structures, and functions. All major plant groups, as well as the algae, will be covered. A portion of this course will be laboratory-style, where we will utilize the living plant collection at the U.S. Botanic Garden for hands-on experience.
