Changes in unemployment insurance legislation in 1993

The U.S. Congress extended the duration of Emergency Unemployment Compensation Benefits, while the District of Columbia, Washington, and Wyoming made extensive changes in their unemployment insurance laws. This article summarizes major changes in State unemployment insurance laws enacted during 1993.
