Priorities & Program Divisions

NIA New Investigators

R01 applications from new investigators will be considered among NIA's highest priorities in the use of discretionary funds to make awards selectively.

Mechanisms e.g., Fellowships (Fs), Training Grants (Ts), Career Development Awards(Ks), Loan Repayments (Ls) etc, supporting research conducted by students, postdoctoral researchers, and clinician scientists.
