The USITC Office of Economics monitors selected activities and developments of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the international organization located in Paris, France that provides a forum where the world's industrialized economies, based on democratic and market economy principles, can analyze and discuss common economic and social issues. USITC coverage of OECD activity focuses largely on trade issues relevant to the OECD Trade Directorate, but can also include related topics such as world macroeconomic growth, international investment, or aspects of antitrust/competition policies, environmental policies, or labor policies that may concern international trade.
