The Hoover Dam Learning Packet is available for download as an Adobe Acrobat .pdf file. It is optimized for printing on your local printer, and can be reproduced as necessary. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader, available for free from the Adobe Web site, to be able to view the file. The file is about 1.2 megabytes and should take about 10 minutes for a 28.8 modem to download it, assuming a good connection.
To download the "Print" version of the file, click on the link titled "Learning Packet (pdf)" in the navigation menu on the left side of this page. If you have Acrobat Reader already installed, your browser may open the file automatically. If it does, then save the file to your local system, using the save button within Acrobat. This will allow you to view and print the file later if you want to. If your browser does not open the file, but asks if you want to save the file to your local system, choose to save it, and be sure to remember where on your computer you are saving it. After the file has been saved, view the file using Acrobat Reader.
An HTML version of the Learning Packet is available here on our Web site as well. This version will let you review the text of the packet, but does not include all of the graphics included in the .pdf version.
