Industries losing the most jobs, 2006-16

The detailed industry with the largest projected wage and salary employment decline from 2006 to 2016 is the gasoline stations industry. This industry is expected to lose about 146,000 jobs.

Four of the 10 detailed industries with the largest projected wage and salary employment declines are in the manufacturing sector, including printing and related support activities and motor vehicle parts manufacturing.
