Notes:   The position of General Dentist is located within the Dental Clinic at the Tishomingo Indian Health Clinic in Tishomingo, OK and is part of the Chickasaw Nation Health System. Duties fall within the scope of consistent, established, professional standards and health system policies. The dental clinic is open M-F from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and callbacks are not required. The position of General Dentist is under the direct supervision of the Chief of Dental Services. Routine work is performed independently following written procedures, standards and regulations. Duties are performed with considerable independence and little supervision. MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Hold current unrestricted State licensure and be eligible for Oklahoma license. 2. Have successfully completed an American Dental Association accredited dental program (DDS or DMD). 3. Be able to demonstrate that he/she has been working in an active dental practice during the last 12 months (recent completion of an accredited dental program will fulfill this requirement.) PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 1. Hold current unrestricted Oklahoma license and current unrestricted DEA number. 2. Certification in residency program for specialty. We are an approved facility for I.H.S.
