SEISMIC DATA FOR COOK INLET, ALASKA

Data Announcement 1976-T

As part of a program by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a number of multichannel common depth point (CDP) seismic reflection lines were collected from the Alaskan coastal areas. The National Geophysical and Solar-Terrestrial Data Center of NOAA is serving as the agency to make these data available for general use as they are released by the USGS. This is to announce the availability of seismic sections for several survey lines in Cook Inlet, Alaska.

The CDP lines were recorded by Western Geophysical, Inc., in July 1975 and processed by Petty-Ray, Inc., in September 1975. Distribution is in the form of sepia or blackline copies of amplitude recovery processed sections. The scale available is 2.5 in./sec and 25.0 tr./ins. (the shot point spacing was 33.5 meters). All of the lines include 36-fold summation.

DATA AVAILABILITY:

Data is available in digital navigation and shot-point navigation on magnetic tape or CD-ROM. Data is available (per line) in sepia or blackline.
