Research Articles. Through PubMed, you can search 16,000,000 biomedical journal abstracts. PubMed Central is a database that contains whole research articles from over 300 research journals.

Medical Genetics Resources. Search for information on human genetic disorders in OMIM, a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders, or Gene Reviews, peer-reviewed articles on genetic testing, diagnosis, and management of inherited disorders. OMIA is a database of genes, inherited disorders, and traits in animal species other than humans and mouse.

What Journals are Covered in PubMed?

All the Journals covered in PubMed are listed in the Journals database. If you want to search PubMed for articles in a particular journal, Use the "Search by Journal" function on the PubMed Limits page, which has an automatic prompt to complete the journal name as you type.

What's in the National Library of Medicine Collection?

The NLM Catalog lists all the journals, books, audiovisuals, computer software, electronic resources and other materials that are in the library's collection. Links to the library's holdings in LocatorPlus, NLM's online public access catalog, are also provided.
