Worked on a consulting basis to help develop Terra Soft Solutions's flagship product, Yellow Dog Linux for Macintosh computers and RS/6000 workstations. Initial work was on on the re-implementation of the software installer, and expanded to the design, implementation and development of Black Lab Linux which is targeted at the parallel cluster computing environment. Ported Black Lab Linux to CSPI's distributed multicomputer architecture, now known as FastCluster

Part of a multi-student group responsible for the system administration and maintenance of the Scalable Computing Lab's approximately 40 machine UNIX network and several cluster supercomputers, including an Intel Paragon and a 64-node Linux-based cluster. Responsible for design and bring-up of a 32 machine Macintosh G4 linux cluster with multiple interconnect technologies, such as Gigabit Ethernet and Myrinet.

Augmented the designed and implemented the system, based on a working prototype, that met the teaching professor's requirements using Intellution FIX software, Visual Basic and PLC programming.
