OOChart: Fastest growing occupations usually requiring a bachelor's degree or more education, projected 1998-2008

As the chart shows, computer-related occupations lead the growth among occupations requiring a bachelor’s degree or more education. Health-related occupations are also among the fastest growing—in fact, nearly half of the 20 fastest growing occupations in this education and training category are computer- or health-related. The remaining ones are from a wide range of fields, including 2 each in education, social services, and design.

These 20 occupations are expected to account for 38 percent of all new jobs in occupations requiring at least a bachelor’s degree.
