The Army Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operation Center (CMAOC) maintains this website and its contents. We are a subordinate division of The Adjutant General Directorate which falls under the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) in Alexandria, Virginia. Simply stated, the CMAOC mission is to assist Army families in an emotionally stressful time of bereavement. The CMAOC website serves as an information and assistance point for casualty-affected Army families and for the many dedicated professionals serving to aid surviving Army family members in their time of greatest need.
