Peter McClintock is currently the Acting Inspector General. He was appointed as the Deputy Inspector General effective April 18, 1999. In that capacity, he served as principal advisor to the Inspector General on all policy, management, and operational matters of the Office of Inspector General. Mr. McClintock has held various auditing positions at SBA, and the Departments of Housing and Urban Development and Commerce over the past 30 years. He is a native of New York and holds a BS degree from Wagner College and an MBA from George Mason University. He is also a Certified Government Financial Manager.
