National Marine Sanctuaries are seeking your participation for the following activities:
The Office of National Marine Sanctuaries is issuing an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking to solicit public comments on whether it should develop regulations for certain aspects of the Section 304(d) consultation provisions of the National Marine Sanctuaries Act, and if so, what such regulations should contain The advanced notice of proposed rulemaking is available for public review and comment through October 31, 2008.
The Stellwagen Bank Draft Management Plan and Environmental Assessment
was released for public review and comment on May 6, 2008. The
draft plan establishes a non-regulatory policy framework for action and
seeks to manage resources for biodiversity and resource protection.
