Introduction

As one of the largest employers in the East Tennessee area, the Y‑12 National Security Complex takes its role as a good neighbor seriously. Interacting with employees, stakeholders and the community through events such as public meetings, conferences and other planned events allows Y‑12 to let people know who we are, what we do and how it all affects them.

Recently the Complex hosted the 2008 DOE Human Capital Contractors Conference. In August, we’ll be hosting the 8th Annual Readiness Workshop, so check here again soon for more about this important upcoming event.

Examples of past community-related events include the following:

  • Readiness Workshop 2007
  • ES&H Expo 2007
  • 4th Annual NNSA Supply Chain Management Workshop
