In 1962, an F4 tornado leveled four homes and destroyed seven others 4 miles southeast of Rochester, MN during the early morning. Damage estimates were $200,000 and it injured 34 people. Also, on this date, an F2 tornado moved from 2 miles west of Pleasant Grove, MN to 2 miles north northeast of Pleasant Grove. Five barns were destroyed and two homes damaged from this northeast moving tornado. Blair, WI (5.26") rain.

In 1992, Wabash, MN (3.56") rain. Other locations in WI: Mondovi (6.3", wettest day on record), Mather (3.35", wettest September day), Alma (3.26"), Neillsville (3.03"), Readstown (3.02"), Cashton (3.01"), La Crosse (2.85").

In 1906, Grand Meadow, MN (3.63") rain.
