Global Technology Exchange Program

The Office of International Programs (OIP) supports the USDOT Strategic Plan through the Global Technology Exchange Program (GTEP), which focuses on government-to-government relations and activities designed to promote the safe, secure and efficient movement of people and cargo. The primary activities are technology exchange, information sharing, the establishment of Technology Exchange Centers and the facilitation of partnering relationships (twinning) between U.S. states and their counterparts in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

GTEP is regionally based and includes:
