The Physical Properties Research Facility is a DOE National User Facility dedicated to physiochemical properties measurement for industry, government, and academia. We have an internationally recognized staff for obtaining unique data, modeling (macro- and micro-scale) to derive fundamental properties, and evaluating their impact on industrial process optimization.

We perform precision physiochemical measurements over a full range of temperatures (ambient to 1000 K) and pressures (0.001 - 2036 mm Hg). These are used to support design of petroleum, chemicals, polymers, and catalyst technologies.
