The Human Resources Division is responsible for developing and implementing MMS policies, procedures, guidelines, and for providing advice and consultation relating to general personnel management; recruitment and employment; classification; human resource planning; employee and labor management relations; conflict of financial interest; and incentive awards.
The MMS Human Resources Division also provides a full range of personnel services to several other groups within the Department of Interior through shared services agreements, including the Office of the Secretary, the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians, the Acquisition Services Directorate, and the Office of the Solicitor.
