Global Ecosystems Database - Disc A The NOAA National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA-Corvallis) collaborated from 1990 to 1993 to integrate global and regional datasets pertaining to the US Global Change Research Program. A coherent, easy-to-use, high quality database was produced which has subsequently been maintained and expanded by NGDC.
