Dr. Diane Pond is a United States Public Health Service commissioned corps officer serving the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and is a member of the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the International Association for the Study of Pain. She conducts pain management lectures on addiction and substance abuse, and chronic pain management. She is presenting pain management training for advance practice nurses in the year 2001.

Dr. Pond is a member of the Assiniboine and Northern Cheyenne tribes and was born in Lame Deer, MT. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Montana in Microbiology and pre-med. She attended medical school and completed her anesthesia residency and her post-doctoral fellowhip in pain management at the Stanford University Medical Center. During medical school, she completed an externship at the Lame Deer IHS clinic. She began her IHS career at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in 1999.
