Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator (EDIE) -- Banker Versions

The FDIC's Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator (EDIE) allows financial institution personnel to calculate insurance coverage of customer's accounts. The FDIC offers EDIE in both on-line and stand-alone versions.

Both the online and stand-alone versions of EDIE for Bankers can be used to calculate the insurance coverage of single, IRA, joint, living trust/ITF/POD, and business/organization accounts and include
the FDIC’s guides Insuring Your Deposits, Your Insured Deposits, and The Financial Institution Employee's Guide to Deposit Insurance.

Online EDIE
The online version allows Bankers to calculate coverage using an easy, spreadsheet-style format, right on the FDIC’s website.

Stand-Alone EDIE
The “Stand-Alone” version of EDIE can can either be downloaded from this website or ordered on CD-ROM from FDIC's online order form. The CD-ROM version may be copied onto a PC hard drive or loaded onto your institution's Intranet or Network.
