ENERGY STAR Meetings
ENERGY STAR periodically hosts meetings for partners and industry to gather to discuss new program initiatives, product specifications or other outreach activities. In addition, these meetings offer ENERGY STAR partners the opportunity to network with others to develop relationships and collaborations to promote ENERGY STAR.

2008 ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting
Date: September 21–24, 2008
Location: Long Beach, CA
Description:
The 2008 ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting will take place September 21–24, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, California. This year's host sponsors are the California utilities including Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, Pacific Gas & Electric, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, and Southern California Gas Company.
The meeting provides a forum in which to network and foster collaboration on appliance promotions between Energy Efficiency Program Sponsors (EEPS) and appliance manufacturers and retailers. It also provides an opportunity to discuss upcoming criteria changes and new product criteria development.
New to the agenda, the Appliance Partner Meeting will incorporate sessions on ENERGY STAR qualified residential water heaters for the first time. We encourage interested ENERGY STAR water heater stakeholders to attend and participate. This meeting will provide an opportunity for manufacturers, utilities, retailers, distributors and efficiency stakeholders to network and plan accordingly for program launch.

Workshop on ENERGY STAR Electronics Program Design
Date: September 24, 2008, 12–6 p.m.
Location: Long Beach, CA
Description:
EPA is pleased to offer a half-day working session for ENERGY STAR partners to hear what’s happening with the country's newest ENERGY STAR electronics programs, take away tools and information to advance their own plans, and learn how best to leverage national EPA and industry efforts to advance energy efficiency in electronics products. This meeting will begin at the conclusion of the 2½ day ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting and take place at the same location. There is no fee for this workshop, but participants must register by September 5, 2008 as space is limited and accurate counts are needed for hotel meeting and food service purposes. National Data Center Energy Efficiency Strategy Workshop

In support of the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) National Data Center Energy Efficiency Information Program, the DOE and EPA are convening this workshop to provide an opportunity for all data center energy efficiency stakeholders to look at the big picture of how government and industry are advancing toward the goal of improved energy efficiency in data centers.
U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR Computer Server Specification Stakeholder Meeting

2008 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting

Description:
The agenda and presentations are now available for the 2008 ENERGY STAR Lighting Partner Meeting that took place February 25–27, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ. Hosted by Arizona Public Service (APS), the 2008 Lighting Partner Meeting focused on current ENERGY STAR strategies, plans, and promotions for 2008 as well as updates from U.S. DOE and U.S. EPA on current efforts and future directions for the program.
