Biosketch:
Liwei Chen, M.D., Ph.D., M.H.S., is a postdoctoral fellow who joined the Epidemiology Branch in 2008. Dr. Chen earned her medical degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Medicine and both her Ph.D. degree in nutritional epidemiology and M.H.S. degree in biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interests include: obesity and its impact on maternal and child long-term health; dietary and genetic determinants for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus; and epidemiological methods in studying relationships between dietary factors and women’s health.
