Federal Coal Symposium |

On January 21, 1998 the Office of Surface Mining held a Federal Coal Symposium to improve relations between the Office of Surface Mining and its partners who implement coal related programs. In addition, the symposium provided a public outreach opportunity that enabled environmental groups and citizens to present their views on coal mining related issues. A Compendium containing the presentations and a directory of attendees is provided below in .pdf format.
