Purpose
To reimburse peer reviewers who participate in initial peer review meetings.
Procedure
NIH is phasing out the U.S. Treasury Central Contractor Registration (CCR) for electronic reimbursement of peer reviewers' honoraria and expenses from participating in peer review meetings.
Reviewers
While NIH is working to develop a new reimbursement system, follow these guidelines to receive your reimbursement:
- If you have an active CCR account, you will receive your payment by direct deposit.
- If you are not registered with CCR or your registration has expired, you will get a check from World Travel Services, Inc. Your check will be sent to the residential mailing address on file in the eRA Commons.
- Do not renew your CCR account when it expires.
Go to Central Contractor Registration and follow these instructions to check the status of your CCR registration:
- Click on "Search CCR" on the left sidebar.
- Enter your DUNS number.
- Click on "Search".
- View the registration status at the top of the page.
