Resource Cards
The Partnership for Arid Lands Stewardship (PALS) Teacher Resource Cards provide information on the abiotic (e.g. climate, geology, etc.) characteristics, the vegetation and the terrestrial and aquatic wildlife of arid lands in the Columbia Basin. Each Teacher Resource Card contains background information, suggested activities to enhance your understanding of the ecology of arid lands, and additional resources including curriculum, books, and websites.
