The mission of the Driving Licensing Division is to: Provide support for the States in efforts to enact new and improve existing graduated driver licensing laws, modernization and standardization of these laws and ordinances pertaining to the licensing of young novice drivers: Assist in the development of appropriate training materials and procedures to reduce risk taking and improve safety decision making for these drivers; Develop standards for driver education instructors and a standardized driver education curriculum.
