Dear Accumetric clients:
Although we are supporting users with existing valid licenses of Accumetric Test Performance Analysis, we are not distributing new licenses. This is partly because my hospital-based work has expanded in demand, but also because there is now a plethora of ROC methods and programs available. More ways of doing ROC analyses are coming up constantly. Some analyses and reviews have suggested that different methods are best for different types of data, and we are not in a position to offer users methods of determining which ROC approach would be best for their data. I suggest you look over the literature and the web, as there are many resources available. Thank you. Stephen Vida
Accumetric Test Performance Analysis is software for the statistical analysis of diagnostic test or rating scale performance.
Please note the new Version 1.1 available July 2006. The new version can now perform analysis of tests with scores that vary directly or inversely with the condition being detected.
Functions include measures of validity such as nonparametric receiver operating characteristic analysis (ROC analysis), sensitivity, specificity, correct classification proportion, misclassification proportion, likelihood ratios and predictive values, with highly accurate 95% confidence intervals. In addition, it now offers measures of reliability such as kappa, weighted kappa, with highly accurate 95% confidence intervals, and intraclass correlation coefficient. Accumetric Test Performance Analysis grew out of our previous package, AccuROC Nonparametric Receiver Operating Characteristic Analysis.
Accumetric Test Performance Analysis calculates measures of test performance for tests yielding dichotomous (i.e. diagnosis positive, diagnosis negative) and numerical (i.e. score) test results.
Accumetric Test Performance Analysis was developed in order to provide
o scientifically valid, up-to-date and referenced statistical solutions to diagnostic
test problems
o a logical, intuitive and simple graphic user interface
o clear and concise documentation encompassing both theoretical and practical
topics
o phone, fax, and e-mail user support
