Creating Sustainability through the Technology Sector

The global health community and donors increasingly demand practical, sustainable systems and information technology infrastructure for HIV/AIDS projects around the world. The Emergency Plan is actively working to engage leading information technology companies in the fight against HIV/AIDS through the application of IT sector skills, products and expertise. An initial “working session“ convened by the Office of U.S. Global Aids Coordinator (OGAC), the Global Business Coalition (GBC), the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), and the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), with a dozen private sector organizations was held on June 27, 2006.
